Three new services are added to Red Movilidad from this Saturday, benefiting communes in the southeast of Santiago
These implementations are part of a new adjustment to the route network, improving coverage and delivering new connections to communes such as Puente Alto, La Florida, La Granja and San Joaquín.
Santiago, October 24.- As of Saturday, October 25, three new bus routes will begin to operate, improving coverage in districts in the southeastern sector of Santiago and benefiting more than 50 thousand users. Likewise, service 225 extends its route, providing a new travel alternative to the residents of Villa Los Aromos, in Puente Alto.
New routes
The new 234 begins to operate between the communes of Santiago and Puente Alto. This service reinforces route 204 and replaces route 204e, which stops working. In addition, it adds new stops, improving waiting times in the districts of Santiago, San Joaquín, La Granja, La Florida and Puente Alto.
The new 234 operates at the following times:
- Monday to Saturday: 05:30 to 23:40 hours
- Sundays and holidays: 05:30 to 23:30 hours
Meanwhile, the new route 244 replaces the 224c that stops providing service. The 244 extends its route to the north to connect with the Dr. Eloisa Díaz Hospital, in the commune of La Florida.
This tour runs from Monday to Sunday between 05:30 and 22:30 hours (departing from Ejército Libertador).
Finally, the new 225c begins to operate between Villa Los Aromos, in Puente Alto, and the Vicente Valdés Metro. This service provides support to the 225 between this Metro station and La Serena during peak hours.
The 225c operates from Monday to Friday in the following time slots: 06:30 – 08:20 and 16:30 – 21:15 hours (departing from the Gabriela terminal).
