Red Movilidad expands its coverage with a new route to Pirque, Puente Alto and extensions of routes from this Saturday

The incorporation of the new 282 service marks the arrival of Red Movilidad to the commune of Pirque, benefiting more than 2 thousand people and reinforcing the connectivity of metropolitan public transport.

Santiago, November 7.- Starting this Saturday, November 8, Red Movilidad will implement a series of improvements in its bus network, with new routes and extensions.

One of the main advances is the incorporation of the new 282 service, which for the first time will connect the residents of Pirque and sectors of Buin, with the Plaza de Puente Alto and Metrotren Nos.

This new service will benefit more than 2 thousand people, marking the entry of Pirque into the Mobility Network system and fare integration.

The hours of operation of the 282 service will be:

  • Monday to Saturday: 05.30 to 23:30 hours.
  • Sundays and holidays. 06:30 to 23:30 hours.

This Saturday, the new F28 service will also be incorporated into Red Movilidad, which will connect Santa Rosa and Eduardo Cordero in the commune of Puente Alto, transiting through the Sargento Menadier axis and also reaching the Plaza de Puente Alto.

Route extensions and adjustments:

From the same Saturday, the following changes will be implemented:

Service 722: it will extend its route to the Santa Marta terminal, improving the connection of users of Zapadores and Horacio Johnson in the commune of Conchalí. (See map extension 722)

Service B13: will modify its route in Santo Tomás, Lampa, expanding coverage in the sector. (See map modification B13)

Service B26: it will shorten its route to make a ring road in Alameda, in order to avoid the co-congestion of Barrio Meiggs and optimize travel times. (See map modification B26)

Service C01: which connects the Francisco Bilbao station with Cerro 18 in Lo Barnechea, it will modify its route in the direction of Cerro 18, improving the connection with the CESFAM of the commune. (See map modification C01)
