Adjustment in the mesh of bus routes: two new services and four extensions begin to operate this Saturday, July 5

Responding to the different connectivity needs that people are looking for, these changes aim to generate new connections, in addition to improving travel and the quality of trips for Red Movilidad users.
Santiago, July 2.- As of Saturday, July 5, changes are implemented in the network of buses of Red Movilidad, highlighting the implementation of two new routes that add connections for the residents of the communes of San Bernardo and Pudahuel, in sectors that until now did not have services. In addition, four routes extend their routes, with the aim of improving the quality of travel for their users.
New routes
The J22 route comes to benefit four thousand users per week, delivering a new connection to the residents of the Praderas de Lo Aguirre sector, with the Pajaritos (line 1) and Barrancas (line 5) Metro stations. For those traveling to Praderas de Lo Aguirre, it is suggested to board this service at Av. Gral. Oscar Bonilla / esq. Ministro Gana (stop PI754). (See map J22)
The new J22 operates from Monday to Sunday at the following hours: Monday to Friday: 05:20 to 21:30 hrs. / Weekends and holidays: 07:10 to 21:00 hrs.
Meanwhile, the new G46 also begins operating on Saturday, July 5, providing connection to the residents of La Estancilla and Los Naranjos, in the vicinity of Route 5, San Bernardo, with the Nos Station of the MetroTren Nos – Central Station. (See map G46)
This route will benefit more than two thousand users per week and will operate from Monday to Sunday at the following times: Monday to Saturday: 05:30 to 22:30 hrs. / Sundays and holidays: 05:30 to 22:00 hrs.
Extensions
Among the extensions that will begin operating this Saturday, the I03 route stands out, a service that extends its route to the Quinta Normal Metro, also entering the interior of Villa Portales. In this way, the residents of the Estación Central housing complex will be able to have a more direct connection with this service. (See map extension I03)
It is important to consider that in the morning, due to the reversibility of Av. Portales, the service will circulate through Matucana and Alameda.
On the other hand, route G12 extends its route to the Lo Sierra terminal, passing through the Av. Lo Espejo/Trinidad Ramírez. In this way, the residents of this sector will have a new travel alternative, complementing services 223 and G34. (See map extension G12)
Finally, routes 507 and 507c extend their routes in both directions in the commune of Peñalolén, traveling along Av. Diagonal Las Torres to the south, reaching the Los Espinos terminal. (See map extension 507-507c)
