We continue to add Red buses: New four routes debut with new fleet

Services 103, 420e, 107 and 117 begin to be operated by Euro VI buses, standard Red.

As of this Sunday 02 August, 78 new red buses with Euro VItechnology are integrated into the system, serving 100% of the fleet of routes 103 and 420e and partially in services 107 and 117.

These services benefit the communes Las Condes, La Reina, Providencia, Auñoa, Macul, San Joaquín, Peñalolén Huechuraba, Recoleta, Conchalí, Renca, Quinta Normal, Lo Prado, Estación Central, Cerrillos, PAC, San Miguel, San Joaquín, La Florida.

In the first stage alone, routes 107 and 117 will have a mixed fleet between Transantiago buses and standard Red buses, as the latter will continue to be added gradually until 100% of the fleet of these services is completed.

The four routes mentioned maintain their paths and stops, changing only the standard and color of the bus. Therefore, we remind you to look at the tour number before boarding.

These new Red buses with Euro VI technology, in addition to having very low emission levels of polluting gases, deliver better performance for their users, such as air conditioning, USB ports, universal accessibility and more comfortable seats, among others.

If you have to leave home, remember to plan your trip so you’re on the street for as little time as possible and avoid contagion.
