Red Siempre Contigo: the new B41 route begins to operate, benefiting communes in the northern sector of Santiago

Continuing with the process of improvements that Red Movilidad is implementing to respond to the different connectivity needs of users, this Saturday a new service begins to operate and two others extend their routes to add and improve travel alternatives.

Santiago, August 14.- This Saturday, August 16, the network of Red Movilidad bus routes is adjusted, highlighting the implementation of the new B41 service that will benefit more than 11 thousand residents of the communes of Huechuraba, Conchalí, Independencia and Recoleta weekly. In addition, routes 227 and 205c are extended, improving the travel offers of users.

In this way, the new B41, which will operate between Huechuraba and Recoleta from Monday to Sunday between 05:30 a.m. and 11:40 p.m., provides a new travel alternative to the residents of the Gonel sector and Barrio La Palma Sur, in the commune of Conchalí. In addition, this service connects with the Metro stations: Hospitales, Conchalí (line 3), Cerro Blanco (line 2) and Mall Plaza Norte. (see new map B41)

Tour extensions

Meanwhile, the 205c service extends its route in the commune of Puente Alto, providing a new travel alternative for people who move on the Ignacio Domeyko and Eduardo Cordero axes (north of Papelera). With this extension, the 205c now connects with the Plaza de Puente Alto and the Municipality from Eduardo Cordero. (see map 205c)

Finally, route 227 extends its route to Cerrillos along Av. Lo Ovalle – Lo Errazuriz, reinforcing the offer of trips along this axis. (see map 227)

It is worth mentioning that the process of improvements to Red Movilidad includes the creation of new services and the renewal of others, in addition to the incorporation of a total of 1,800 new electric buses, which added to the current ones will reach a figure of more than four thousand by the end of 2025. This process will benefit more than 3.5 million people in more than 20 districts of Santiago.
