Red Movilidad implements new service to Cerrillos and extension of 6 routes from this Saturday

Santiago, August 29.- This Saturday, August 30, the Red Movilidad bus network presents an adjustment, where the implementation of the new H24 service stands out, which will benefit more than 23 thousand residents of the communes of San Joaquín, San Miguel, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Lo Espejo and Cerrillos weekly. In addition, six routes extend their routes and another service modifies it, improving connections and coverage.

In this way, the new H24 will operate between La Victoria and the West Portal, providing a direct connection between the Dávila Population and the West Portal with the Pedro Aguirre Cerda station of Tren Nos-Central Station. This new service was born from the merger of routes H02 and H04, which cease to operate, but will be covered in their entirety by H24. (See new map H24)

The H24 will provide service from Monday to Sunday at the following times:

From La Victoria:

• Monday to Sunday: 05:00 to 23:30 hrs.

From the West Portal:

• Monday to Friday: 05:00 to 22:45 hrs.
• Saturday: 05:00 to 22:40 hrs.
• Sunday: 05:00 to 22:30 hrs.

Tour extensions

Routes B38 and 518 extend their routes in the Cerro Navia commune. In the case of the former, the service will now travel through Av. La Estrella – Río Douro – Federico Errázuriz and Rodoviario, while the 518 will do so through Av. La Estrella – Mapocho and Rodoviario. (See map B38) – (See map 518)

Meanwhile, the G28 extends its service in the commune of La Pintana, circulating through Rosa Ester to provide coverage to the new La Platina housing sector. This extension allows the residents of this sector to have a direct connection with the Lo Martínez Line 2 Metro stations and El Pino Hospital. (See map G28)

On the other hand, the H05 and H09 services also extend their routes, benefiting the residents of the communes of Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Lo Espejo and Cerrillos.

In this way, the H05 will now travel through Av. Clotario Blest, Obispo Javier Vásquez and Presidente Salvador Allende. This extension will allow the service to connect directly with the Lo Espejo station of the MetroTren-Nos. (See map H05)

In the case of H09, it will now travel through Lo Ovalle, Central and Presidente Salvador Allende avenues, generating a new direct connection between Lo Espejo and the Barros Luco Hospital. (See map H09)

Ending with the extensions of routes, the J10 route adds a new stopping point in the commune of Pudahuel, specifically the stop located on Av.J.M.Guzmán Riesco with Río Itata, code PJ818.

Modification of route 505

Finally, the 505 service modifies its route, ceasing to travel through Rodoviario, now circulating along Mapocho and La Estrella avenues, in the commune of Cerro Navia. (See map 505)
